A built-in 1000 mAh rechargeable battery takes over automatically during a power cut and keeps it monitoring for up to 8 hours. If it detects a hazard, an 85 dB alarm sounds and the lights flash to alert you right away.

How do I install this monitor?

Installation is simple. Attach the magnetic adapter to the back of the unit and plug it straight into any standard wall outlet. You can rotate the screen to match the direction of your outlet.

How does the backup battery work?

The internal 1000 mAh battery charges automatically while the monitor is plugged into the wall. If your home loses power, it switches to battery mode straight away and keeps monitoring for up to 8 hours.

What do the status lights mean?
