Barefoot Trail Shoes That Feel Light and Grip Anywhere

Most outdoor footwear makes you choose between heavy, stiff boots and soft sneakers that squeeze your toes. These barefoot-style trail shoes combine a rugged, grippy sole with a roomy, foot-shaped fit and a weight of only about 315 g per shoe, so you can take on paths, gravel and city streets in comfort.

The idea

Stand flat, move naturally

Conventional shoes lift the heel and narrow the toes. That small slope shifts your weight forward and changes the way you stand.

These shoes put you on a flat zero-drop base, similar to standing barefoot on firm ground, while the wide toe box gives your toes space to spread out. Many people find it makes walking and standing feel more natural and stable.

The barefoot principles

Four features that make the difference

Icon of toes spreading inside a wide toe box

Wide toe box

A generous, foot-shaped front lets your toes spread and land freely instead of being pressed together.

Icon of a flexible sole bending

Flexible design

Bends with your foot from the very first step. No stiff break-in period.

Zero drop

Heel and forefoot sit at the same height for a natural, level stance.

Icon of a feather above a shoe

Feather-light

Only about 315 g per shoe, so there is nothing heavy dragging you down.

Built for the outdoors

Rain, puddles and wet grass

The upper uses a waterproof construction with reinforced protective panels, so morning dew, puddles and rainy commutes are much less of a worry.

Underneath, a deep, multi-directional lug sole grips wet asphalt, loose gravel and muddy trails.

Flexible from day one

Grip and freedom in one sole

The rubber sole is stable and grippy, yet flexible enough to twist and bend with your foot. Its rugged profile is made for uneven, natural terrain where you want sure footing.

A classic lace-up system locks the midfoot in place while leaving the forefoot free: snug where you want it, open where it counts.

Sizing tip

Size up for the best fit

This model runs slightly small. For the best fit we recommend choosing one size larger than you usually wear.

To check, stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and longest toe, and measure the length. If you are new to barefoot shoes, start with shorter walks and build up as your feet get used to the flat, flexible sole.
