The sateen weave runs long, flat threads across the surface, so more of the cool fabric touches your skin.

A sateen weave, not a percale: threads float over several others before dipping under. More fabric touching you means heat moves away faster. Percale crosses every thread and breaks that surface up.

It absorbs sweat into the fibre

Bamboo viscose soaks moisture into the fibre itself, instead of leaving it on your skin. It holds about 11% of its weight in moisture.

Bamboo absorbs, it does not sit wet: damp skin is what turns warm into clammy.

It stays smooth and light

400 thread count, tightly woven and silky, so it lies smooth against you without feeling heavy.

400 thread count: how many threads are woven into a square inch. At 400 the surface is dense and smooth rather than open and textured, so the contact has no gaps.
