"Earthing" or "grounding" is the practice of connecting physically with the earth, often by walking barefoot on grass or soil. Our modern lifestyles, with shoes, floors and raised beds, keep us apart from that contact. This grounding half sheet brings it indoors: it connects to the earth through the ground port of your wall socket, so you stay in contact with the ground while you sleep. It lies across the middle of your bed, over your normal sheet, and works for single, double, queen, king and Californian king beds.

What is grounding?
Grounding is like plugging into the earth's natural energy. It means being in direct contact with the earth, often by walking barefoot on grass or soil.
The earth carries a mild negative charge, and our bodies are by nature electrical. Grounding lets you top up on that contact, a bit like recharging a battery, without having to go outside.
How it works
Grounding indoors with a grounding sheet
The sheet carries the earth's electrons into your bed through the grounding wire of your home. Your home's grounding rod collects them, the safety cord brings them to the sheet, and the silver grid passes them to your skin.
- Ground port only: the cord uses only the ground (earth) pin of the outlet, not the power.
- Safety resistor: a 50k ohm resistor is built into the cord.
- Adapters included: for UK, EU and AU/NZ sockets.

How to use
Simple steps to sleep grounded
1. Place the sheet across your bed
Lay it over your normal sheet, across the middle of the mattress, where your body rests.
2. Plug it into the ground port
Connect the cord to the sheet's snap and plug it into the grounding socket of your electrical outlet, with the adapter if you need one.
3. Sleep on it
Sleep on the sheet with bare skin touching it, or with only a thin layer of clothing in between.

How do I wash the sheet?
The silver threads are naturally odour resistant, so the sheet needs less washing than regular sheets. Keep it clean from sweat and skin oils to keep it conductive.
- Hand wash, or machine wash on a gentle cycle, cold water only.
- Air dry only. Do not tumble dry and do not iron.
- No bleach, fabric softener, whitening or oxi detergents, and no dryer sheets.
- Avoid detergents with oils such as lavender or coconut oil.
- Wait one hour after applying lotions or body oils before touching the sheet.
