Finally, a Calming Tool for Kids They Can Hold in Their Hand

This little palm device sends a gentle pulse, like a tiny heartbeat, to the PC8 point in the centre of the palm. PC8 is one of acupressure's best-known calming points, used for over 1,000 years, and acupressure is widely studied for calm and sleep. Your child simply holds it whenever they need to settle: before school, after a hard day, in the car or at bedtime.

The problem

3 signs your child needs something calming to hold

1

Tired, but can't switch off

Yawning at 8pm, still wide awake at 10. Their body is ready for bed, but their mind keeps going.

Did you know? It gives a busy mind one steady thing to focus on: a soft pulse in the centre of the palm. It switches itself off after 20 minutes.

2

Small things turn into big moments

A changed plan, a noisy room, the school drop-off. One small thing and the whole day tips over.

Did you know? It is their own thing to hold, with a pulse like a tiny heartbeat. It fits in a pocket or school bag, so it's there for the hard moments, not just bedtime.

3

You've tried everything else

Charts, rewards, night lights, sound machines. Good ideas that never seem to stick. This is something different: a calm they can hold in their own hand.

How it works

Built around the palm's calming point

It delivers gentle micro-pulses to the PC8 acupressure point in the palm, a point long used in Chinese acupressure to support calm and relaxation. The soft pulses sit on the PC8 point in the centre of the palm, giving a busy mind one steady rhythm to settle with.

  • PC8 point: where the middle fingertip rests in the palm.
  • Micropulse: a soft pulse, like a tiny heartbeat.
  • 1,000+ years: a classic acupressure calming point.
  • Gentle levels: start on level 1, the softest setting.

Did you know?

No screen, no light and no sound

It sends a soft pulse, like a tiny heartbeat, to one spot in the centre of the palm called PC8. When scientists mapped that spot, they found it sits right over branches of the median nerve, one of the main nerves in the hand.¹

It brings the idea of acupressure to the palm with a gentle pulse instead of a finger. No screen, no light, no sound, and it switches itself off after 20 minutes.

¹ Kim SH et al., Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice, 2025 (anatomical study of the PC8 point). The study did not test this device itself.

Calm, day and night

Calm for big feelings

A soft pulse on the PC8 point in their palm, used in acupressure for over 1,000 years, to help them settle when emotions run high.

Heartbeat icon

Settles them for sleep

Let them hold it in bed. A pulse like a tiny heartbeat helps them relax at bedtime.

Timer icon

Turns off as they drift off

It switches itself off after 20 minutes, so there's no sneaking back in to turn it off.

Pocket-sized for tough moments in the car, nervous school mornings and bedtime.

How to use

Hold. Pulse. Relax.

How to use: metal side on the centre of the palm, start on level 1, a soft pulse like a tiny heartbeat

1. Charge it

Charge it for about 30 minutes before first use. Avoid leaving it on charge for more than 2 hours.

2. Turn it on

Press and hold the power button on the side for 5 seconds. You'll see a light come on when it's ready.

3. Place it in the palm

Your child holds it so it rests gently against the skin, with the round button in the centre of the palm, where the PC8 point is. Not feeling the pulse? Press '+' a few times and move it slightly.

4. Adjust the intensity

Use '+' and '–' to find a comfortable level. It should feel like a soft pulse, like a tiny heartbeat, never strong.

5. Let it work

Your child simply holds it while they relax, wind down or get ready for bed. The 20-minute auto shut-off means you don't need to worry about turning it off.

Testing it: charge it for at least 30 minutes, turn it on, press '+' a few times, then place a finger across the round button while touching the smooth surface. If you feel a gentle pulse, it's ready to use.

Size

The same size for kids and adults

Small enough for a child's hand or a pocket. It is about 7 cm (2.8 in) long and weighs just 45 g, so it goes everywhere: to school, in the car, on a sleepover or on a plane.

It arrives in a gift-ready box, so it also makes a lovely present for a grandchild, niece or nephew.

How is it different?

Something they hold, not something they take

It sends a gentle pulse to the PC8 acupressure point in the palm to support natural calm, any time of day. Kids use it before school, in the car, in a hard moment or at bedtime, as often as they need.

  • No melatonin or hormones
  • Use it day or night
  • No pills to remember
  • Fits into the routine you already have

Who it's for

Made for little hands, ages 3 and up

Made for children ages 3 and up, with an adult nearby under 8. Children 8 and older can usually use it on their own once they know how it works.

What to expect: try it on your own palm first, on the lowest level, so you can show your child. Use it at the same moments each day, like the drive to school or the start of bedtime. Some children take to it straight away, others need a few nights to get used to it.

Questions parents ask

What does it feel like?

Just a soft pulse in the palm, like a tiny heartbeat. You can turn it up or down to find the level that feels right for your child.

Can it help at bedtime?

Many families use it as part of a calm, relaxed bedtime routine. It switches itself off after 20 minutes, so it fits easily into lights-out. Every child is different, and some take a few nights to get used to it.

How often can we use it?

As needed through the day. Many families use it 20–30 minutes before sleep, and 1–2 times a day or whenever their child feels overwhelmed. Each session lasts 20 minutes.

How long does the battery last?

A full charge takes about 2 hours and gives about 50 twenty-minute sessions.

Does it give off EMF?

No. It has no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or wireless signals. It simply sends a soft pulse to the palm and switches itself off after 20 minutes.
