The Slot Guides the Blade, So the Cut Stays Straight
This quilting ruler swaps the usual flat edge for 26 precision-milled slots. Your rotary blade runs inside a channel instead of along an edge, which makes straight strips and matching blocks much easier, even when your hands aren't perfectly steady.
The problem
Flat rulers ask a lot of your hands
With a traditional ruler you have to hold it perfectly still, press down and drag a sharp blade along a smooth edge, all at once. The ruler slides, the blade drifts, and even a tiny wobble is enough to make points miss and blocks refuse to line up.
Here the channel walls do the guiding. The slot is just wide enough for the blade, so it has nowhere to wander.
How to use
Clean cuts in 3 steps

Align
Lay the ruler on your fabric like any other ruler. Grip dots underneath help hold it in place.

Drop in the blade
Set your rotary cutter into the teardrop opening of the slot for the width you need.

Glide
Pull the cutter through and let the channel keep the line straight, no steering needed.
