Cut Thin Strips of the Same Width, Again and Again
This thin rip jig slides into the mitre slot of your table saw and gives you a fixed reference point for every cut. Set the width once, bring the fence up to the bearing and rip as many identical strips as you need, from about 1/32″ thin.

The problem
Thin strips between the blade and fence are awkward
Cutting thin strips with the offcut trapped between the blade and the fence is fiddly, and measuring every strip from the fence makes it hard to keep them all the same width.
With this jig, the thin strip falls on the outside of the blade instead. You simply move the fence and workpiece up to the jig’s bearing after each cut, so every strip comes out at the width you set.
How to use
Set up in four simple steps
1
Fit it in the slot
Choose the right slider for your saw and slide the T-nuts into the mitre slot or T-track.
2
Set your width
Set the distance you want using the engraved inch or metric scale, then lock the knobs.
3
Bring the fence over
Move the fence and workpiece until the wood just touches the bearing.
4
Cut and repeat
Lock the fence, make the cut, and repeat for as many strips as you need.
