Almost no glue

It uses very little glue. Some inner joints are reinforced with wood powder and glue for strength, but every surface your baby can touch is glue-free.

Extra stability, if needed

For extra hold, place it on a flat surface and add weight near the outside corners, such as storage bins or toy baskets. Keep heavy items out of baby's reach.

If your little one is extra active, some parents secure one side to nearby furniture with zip ties or soft straps. It can help keep things steadier during playtime. Zip ties are not included.

Questions people ask

What age range and room size is it for?

It is designed for children from about 6 months up to 2 years, depending on size and use. At 24 inches high, it gives toddlers room to pull up and explore. With four sizes and many shapes, it fits a small apartment corner or a larger family room.

What is it made of, and is glue used?

Solid New Zealand pinewood, finished without paints or coatings, with smooth, rounded edges. Most parts are made without glue. Some small inner joints use a mix of glue and wood powder, but the parts your baby can reach are glue-free.

Can I change the shape or make it bigger?

Yes. It comes in four preset sizes, and you can remove panels to fit a smaller space or connect two sets with extra connectors for a larger layout. In a very wide layout the middle is not supported by the frame, so it is a little more flexible, but still stable for normal use.

Is it stable when my baby pulls up, or on smooth floors?

It uses suction cups for smooth floors and connectors that hold the panels together. If your baby pushes or pulls on the sides, it can move slightly. For extra stability, check that every connector is in place, set it against a wall or in a corner, and put a non-slip mat or rug underneath on hard floors. Attach the suction cups to a clean, dry floor.

How easy is it to set up, fold away or move?

Setup is quick and needs no tools. Folding takes one extra step: detach the connectors first. This is what keeps every panel firmly in place during daily use and allows the custom shapes. Once the connectors are off, the panels fold flat for storage or to move between rooms.

Can my baby chew on it?

Occasional light teething on the smooth, straight bars is fine, but the rails are not meant for long-term chewing. Give your baby a teething toy instead, which also protects the finish.

How high is the gap under the playpen?

The space between the bottom of the playpen and the floor is 2.85 inches, which makes cleaning underneath easy.

What if I find a rough spot or splinter?

Smooth it with fine-grit sandpaper. If that does not work, cover the spot with thick tape and contact us.

It makes small noises. Is that normal?

Mild creaks are normal for solid wood, which reacts to changes in the room and to movement. Check that all connectors are tight and that it stands on a level surface. A non-slip mat underneath also helps.

Can it be used outdoors?

It is made mainly for indoor use, but can be used outdoors in a safe, shaded spot. Keep it away from damp so the wood is not damaged.

What can we do with it when my child outgrows it?

Turn it into a reading nook, toy corner or pet zone. Older children can use the same space for sensory play, music time or creative play.

Good to know

  • Always supervise your child while they are in the playpen.
  • Make sure the frame is fully assembled and every connector is in place before use.
  • Remove large toys or cushions once your baby starts pulling up, so they can't be used to climb.
  • Use only a mat or padding that fits snugly. Avoid soft bedding or extra cushions, which can raise the risk of suffocation.
  • Place the playpen away from stairs, heaters and windows with cords.
  • The suction cups grip best on smooth, solid, clean and dry floors. If your baby pushes on the sides, the playpen can move slightly.
  • Light teething is fine, but the rails are not a teether.
  • Care: wipe with a damp cloth and avoid alcohol-based cleaners. Check the connectors and suction cups regularly.
